Police identify man who stole $2,700 wedding dress from Columbus porch

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police are searching for a man caught on camera stealing a package containing two wedding dresses from a porch of a home in southeast Columbus.

The theft happened on May 29, at a home on East Whittier Street, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Police say thanks to a tip, on Aug. 8, the man was identified as Daniel Edwin Rosebrough and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Investigators also said they believe the suspect could possibly be connected to more crimes.

The suspect is described as wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers shirt with a cigarette in his mouth. Police said he was seen pulling what appeared to be a two-wheeled cart.

Police said that have received several tips about the suspect they are working to confirm.

Detectives also say they are working to track down the wedding dresses.
